I bought a 95 with 2,250 miles for $2800.00. Found a 99 with 2,000 miles for $3,200.00. The MSRP for a new one is $4,249.00. If the seller won't lower the price, look around.
I've had mine since June...my third bike (First in about 15 years) The more I ride the Savage, the more I like it. So far it has never failed to start (or stop), handles well, and averages about 50 mpg. It was this forum that convinced me to buy a savage...Hey I knew more then the dealer when I finally decided to buy.
